Product Information

Are the watches made of real wood?

Yes, they are. The wood we use originates from all over the world and is selected in several criteria. Our top priority is to be sustainable and to deliver high grade products to our customers.

Who designed the movement of my new watch?

We use movements of the highly appreciated Citizen Miyota.

Are the watches waterproof?

No, the watches are not completely waterproof. However, they are splash proof, so some light rain will not hurt your watch. Do not wear you WoodWatch in the shower or when going for a swim.

Will the watch fit me?

Yes! The size of your watch can be adjusted by removing some links from the strap. This is easily done by a jeweller, a watchmaker, or yourself. Your delivery will include several screwdrivers that you can use to easily adjust the strap yourself.
Your watch can always fit you perfectly!

Can the colors differ from the photos?

As all of our watches are made of natural wood, each watch has its own unique pattern and will therefore differ slightly from the pictures. This makes each piece truly unique.

Maintenance

You can keep the watch vital by giving it some occasional attention. Make a mixture of olive oil with lemon in equal proportions. Use a cotton bud to apply the mixture to the wood and allow it to dry.

Complaints

It is annoying, of course, if you have a complaint about the service you have experienced. Nevertheless, we kindly ask you to pass on your complaint via the e-mail to the customer contact department. Our employees of the customer contact department will review the complaint and try to resolve the complaint to everyone's satisfaction. You can submit the complaint here, or by sending an e-mail to support@woodwatch.com (do not forget to mention an order number if you have one). After receiving the complaint you will receive a confirmation from us. We will usually respond to the complaint within 1 day of receipt. If it needs more time, we will inform you about this.

Warranty

Every product is produced with an eye for quality, both on the workmanship and materials that are used. Before a product is send out it has undergone multiple tests to ensure a high grade product quality. From the date of delivery the product is warranted for a period of no longer than one year.

This limited warranty can only be used if the product is used in accordance with the care and operations instructions. Any damage to abnormal usage and wear are not covered by the warranty. Moreover, WoodWatch will not be responsible for loss or damage connected to the use of its products, nor the life of the battery. The batteries are replaceable.

If you have a warranty claim, then file a support ticket here or contact us on support@woodwatch.com. If the warranty claim is approved we will repair/replace the product. Return shipping will be reimbursed in the following manner:

  • For customers within Europe the return shipment is covered by us.
  • For customers outside of Europe the return shipment is covered by us up until €15 if the defect was reported to us within 90 days of your original order. For the reimbursement we need a copy of the receipt of shipment.

Return Policy

We hope that you love everything you buy from us, however if this is not the case, we will refund your item when you return it to us. If you want to use this right of withdrawal you should let us know within 14 days of receipt of all the products. After you have expressed wanting to make use of this you should return the products within 14 days to us.
For customers within Europe the cost of the return shipment is covered by us. For customers outside of Europe we ask you to cover the cost of the return shipment.
Once the product is received we will refund your purchase (excluding any shipping fees) within 2 business days.

Returns of products with engraving

Products that are personalized with engraving do not fall under the Return Right. It is therefore not possible to return these products unless there is a coverage by the warranty.

How long will the shipping of my wooden watch or other product from WoodWatch take?

Please see our Shipping & Returns page for a detailed overview of the shipping times per country. If the delivery time of a specific product varies, then we will show that on the specific product page.

Which countries do you ship to?

Our watches are sent to all countries in the world. For all countries we offer a free DHL Economy shipping option, and for selected countries we have a premium DHL Express shipping option that is faster.

What are the shipping rates?

We have a free worldwide shipping option with DHL Economy. For selected countries we offer a premium service called DHL Shipping, which has a next-day delivery for orders within Europe that are ordered on business days before 17:00 CEST, and 2-4 days of delivery for the rest of the world. The cost of this premium shipping service varies between €9 - €20. The cost for your selected country appears on the checkout.

What are the return costs?

If you do not like the watch, you can use the Return Right. For customers within Europe the cost of the return shipment is covered by us. For customers outside of Europe we ask you to cover the cost of the return shipment. Have a look at the Return Policy heading for more information.

With WoodWatch it is possible to pay with the following payment methods: iDeal, Credit Card, PayPal, Bankcontact / Mister Cash, Sofort, Giropay, Carte Bleue, Bitcoin, Klarna invoice and Bank Transfer (Bank transfer). Below you will find a detailed explanation of some payment methods.

Credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Maestro)
You can enter your credit card information through our secure SSL connection and we will make sure your payment is processed safely.

iDEAL
This payment method is possible for anyone with a Dutch bank card and card reader. With this payment method you can process the payment with your own bank during the ordering process. You settle in your familiar internet payment environment, based on specific security methods of your own bank.

PayPal
You can also pay via PayPal. The money will then be debited from your PayPal account, and you can pay safely within the vicinity of PayPal.
